Arrival at Kigali
You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel for relaxation as you await the next day’s activity.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 6:00 am for the Kyanika border at mid-morning and drive to Bwindi which is 5-6 hours away. You will have lunch on your way.

A highlight of your safari; Meeting the gentle giants of Bwindi. Hikers will love trekking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. The hike might take 2-8 hours. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead before you encounter any gorilla. It will be worthwhile as you observe them closely as they eat, play, and rest. You will carry packed lunch on this day and also you are required to carry enough drinking water.
